Our Curriculum Development Process
and Industry Portfolio
Our curriculum development process is the end-result of years of industry experience and research.
1. Our Industry Experience
The fastest way to become a professional is to learn from one. ITRA, our Sister Company in Japan, handles a huge variety of Web-related projects and keeps us up to date with the latest trends happening all over the world. This is how we craft courses that are flexible and focus on the skills that are in high-demand in the global market.
2. W3C Member Company
W3C is an international community where member organisations, a full-time staff, and the public, work together to develop Web standards for technology-based companies related to Big Data, Web and TV, Security and Privacy, Automotive, Web Payments, Mobile & Telecommunications, Digital Publishing and Accessibility, amongst others. We are the first education institute in Japan to become a W3C member.
W3C and Internet Academy
Members of our Research Team based at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, one of the host universities for the W3C, work towards developing standard education materials for the Web. We continuously update our curricula based on information that comes directly from our Researchers, which ensures our grasp of the newest information and vision for the Web.
W3C Dev Campus
Our strong relationship with the W3C lead to the launch of W3C's Dev Campus course, provided exclusively in Japan by Internet Academy.
A site for the Web community, launched with the collaboration of Apple, Google, Microsoft and other companies.
We have participated in the annual TPAC event hosted by the W3C, where the entire W3C community comes together and discusses the current issues with the Web.
3. Our Global Network
Internet Academy has branch offices in New York, Bangalore and Tokyo, as well as a research centre in Boston. Our centres, located in the IT hubs of the world, provide us with an insight into the latest trends and developments in the field. This allows us to provide your employees with world-class skills.
Our centers in the US tap into the world's number one business city, New York; as well as the education hub, Boston - home to MIT and Harvard - to provide your employees with education standards that meet the Global Market expectations.
Internet Academy was founded in Tokyo, Japan in 1995. Here, we develop and research new curriculum. Our sister companies Web Staff, ITRA and Home Worker's Community are also located here.
Our Indian centre is located in India's most accomplished IT city, Bangalore - a global melting pot for technology and culture
