Choosing a Career with Long-term Growth

I am from Maharashtra, and I completed my education at The Bishop's School in Pune. After then graduating from Chirst College in Pune in 2015, I got an opportunity to work as an Ad Reviewer at Amazon. Within a year of working there, I transferred internally to a new team and worked as a Content Reviewer.

Even though I had an overall experience of two and a half years at Amazon, I felt that my work there was very monotonous. I decided that I needed a change in my career, and started thinking about skills that would help me in the long run.

I have been very interested in learning to code, and I discovered that Web Design and Web Development are trending careers that have long-term stability and growth. I started to search for classes that would teach me these skills in Bangalore and I found Internet Academy. They seemed to have good reviews and so I chose their Bootcamp course as this course covers many important aspects of Web Development in a short period of time.

Foundation in Key Concepts

My classes here were a great experience. The syllabus they covered was very useful and the depth to which the instructors go to explain concepts is commendable. At the end of the course, we have project sessions where I learnt to design and develop a website using Photoshop, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery, and also successfully uploaded it.

I feel like this course gave me an absolute foundation in key concepts needed for my career to succeed.

Gaining New Opportunities

The knowledge I gained here has made me very confident. Previously, I wasn't able to see a great future at my job. But now, I am happy that I chose to upgrade my skills and learn how to code.

It has opened up so many opportunities and so much awareness, growth and learning for me. Also, it was just so much fun to come to the institute!

Receiving Project Support

The instructors have a great amount of knowledge about the subject and they communicate well. It was a great learning experience when I did my project from scratch.

They were very supportive, and provided me with a lot of links, solved my doubts and helped me to do my project by guiding me on how to research my options.

My advice to future students is to choose a website design that is simple but at the same time has multiple components. This will allow you to understand the project approach better instead of just focusing on making a website. Make sure that you complete your project on time and get certified so that you can showcase what you have learnt and get more opportunities.

Taking the Next Step Together

I met a lot of people here at Internet Academy from so many walks of life. Some of my classmates were working at the time, some were freshers, some freelancers, and it was nice to learn in a place where everyone was passionate about what they are doing.

Being surrounded by people who are so driven and eager to learn really motivated me to succeed. We kept encouraging each other to take the next big step in our careers and I got to grow so much in this journey.

Building my Future

Before I joined this course, I was really worried and uncertain about my future and what I wanted to do. But joining this Bootcamp course has made me confident and happy about the level of knowledge and skills I acquired.
