Speakers at a panel discussion on new age technology held at INTERNET ACADEMY here on Monday, explained how this new age technology could help the developing need of the modern day smart and efficient housing.
Chairman of Japan Smart Community Alliance (JSCA) Prof Masao Isshiki and R&D head of the academy Santanu Mukherjee were key speaker at the event Prof Isshiki said, “The number of household with HEMS will grow to more than 40 million by 2020 and many Japanese companies have started making efforts towards exploring possibilities of HEMS for ‘smart house’ for optimal energy,” he said.
