IBJ signed a MoU with Shree Institute of Technical Education.
On the 16th of March, IBJ signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Shree Institute of Technical Education (SITE), a University that aims to provide quality Engineering, Management, and Technical Education to its students. IBJ will now serve as a Knowledge Partner for Shree Institute in the area of Internet Technologies, aiding them in inculcating their students with the knowledge and skills necessary to drive them to be future leaders of the corporate world.

Vice-Chairman of SITE, Mr. Venugopal Tenkayala, expressed his desire to strengthen the ties between the University and Japan, exposing students to the latest in Japanese innovation and available opportunities. It was in this spirit that a seminar titled “Web of Opportunities” was held at the SITE Campus in Tirupati, where IBJ highlighted the current shift in every industry’s focus towards Web Integration and the chances that it opens up for students all across the world.
Mr. Jayant Kumar, Managing Director of IBJ, stressed the need for students to embrace skill-sets that will help them keep pace with the fast changing trends. “Technology is changing at an unprecedented rate, in every industry, in every city in the world,” he said. “If our students do not constantly work towards updating their knowledge, they will find that the world is changing too quickly for them to keep up with.”.
Over 300 students attended the event, where Instructors from IBJ walked them through the past, present and future of the Web - as well as listing the reasons behind why the Internet has become such an integral part of all our lives. The students were shown that not only could they be witnesses to marvels as a result of technological advancements, but be active developers in shaping that future.
Going forward, students from Shree Institute will be exposed to the Vocational Training Program model conducted by IBJ that focuses on multiple areas – from Web Technology to Project Management, Soft Skills and Marketing - making the students capable of holding their own in the corporate world.
