W3C Seminar at Internet Academy

W3C is an International community where member organisations, a full-time staff, and the public work together to develop Web standards for technology companies in the space of Big Data, Web and TV, Security and Privacy, Automotive, Web Payments, Mobile & Telecommunications, Digital Publishing, Accessibility, etc. Led by Web inventor Sir Tim Berners-Lee and CEO Jeffrey Jaffe, W3C's mission is to lead the Web to its full potential.
Today, 400 Companies around the world - including Google, Microsoft, Facebook, eBay, Netflix, Alibaba, Pearson, Bloomberg, Opera, Vodafone, The Walt Disney Company and Orange - work together to build, promote and implement standards in their solutions.
Agenda
The seminar will be led by Mr. Alan Bird, the Global Business Development Lead for the W3C. Alan has always expressed a great interest in India and its growth as a digital nation. This seminar will focus on what the W3C can do for Web-based companies in India and how they can contribute to creating a better internet for all.
